README
SingLinkBot MCP
Remote Model Context Protocol access to citable SingLinkNews briefs and strictly authorized, read-only SingLinkBot group information.
Official endpoints
- Product and setup guide: https://singlinkbot.com/en/mcp
- Remote MCP endpoint (Streamable HTTP):
https://singlinkbot.com/mcp/connect - Public news: https://singlinkbot.com/en/news
- MCP authorization dashboard: https://singlinkbot.com/en/dashboard/mcp
The MCP endpoint is a protocol endpoint, not a normal webpage. Add it to a compatible MCP client instead of opening it as a website.
Two isolated connection modes
| Mode | Authentication | Available data |
|---|---|---|
| Public news | None | Public, fully translated platform news only |
| Authorized management | Authorization: Bearer slmcp_live_… |
Selected read-only scopes for the signed-in account and explicitly granted groups |
User-created news is excluded from public news tools. Management access never accepts a caller-supplied userId, ownerId, chatId, administrator role, or viewAs override.
Implemented tools
Public: get_latest_news, search_news, get_news_article, list_news_categories.
Authorized management: list_my_groups, get_group_settings, get_group_statistics, get_my_subscription. See the language-specific guides for inputs, scopes, configuration, attribution, and security details.
Minimal configuration
Public connection:
{
"mcpServers": {
"singlink": {
"url": "https://singlinkbot.com/mcp/connect"
}
}
}
Authorized connection (only if the client supports secret headers):
{
"mcpServers": {
"singlink": {
"url": "https://singlinkbot.com/mcp/connect",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer ${SINGLINK_MCP_TOKEN}"
}
}
}
}
Configuration keys vary by client. Store the token in a secret manager or environment variable; never commit it, paste it into prompts, or send it to a third party.
Attribution
SingLinkNews provides AI-assisted translations and summaries. Facts, images, and original reporting remain attributable to the named source and author. MCP article results include a public SingLinkNews URL and the original report URL so consumers can cite and verify the source.
Security
Report suspected vulnerabilities through the contact channel published on https://singlinkbot.com. Do not include real tokens, personal data, or exploit details in a public issue.
