pg-health
Archived MCP server for PostgreSQL health monitoring; functionality merged into pg-dash.
README
pg-health
π Merged back into pg-dash.
pg-health was a short-lived Python CLI + MCP experiment (2026-04-23, v1.0.0 β v2.0.0 within hours). After same-day decision review, its functionality has been consolidated back into pg-dash β the single maintained PG tool from IndieKit.
Why the merge
Only one user (myself). Maintaining two packages, two READMEs, two test suites, two release channels for the same person's use case was pure overhead. pg-dash has always been the superset β pg-health's 4597 lines of Python were mostly reimplementations of pg-dash's TypeScript functionality.

Migration
If you installed this via pipx install pg-health:
pipx uninstall pg-health
npm install -g @indiekitai/pg-dash # or: npx @indiekitai/pg-dash
All CLI commands and MCP tools are in pg-dash. Tool name prefix changes from pg_health_* back to pg_dash_*. Update your ~/.claude/mcp.json:
// Replace this:
"pg-health": { "command": "pg-health-mcp" }
// With this:
"pg-dash": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@indiekitai/pg-dash-mcp"] }
Status
- PyPI: v1.0.0 and v2.0.0 are yanked (still pinnable for reproducibility, but new installs are blocked)
- GitHub: this repo is archived (read-only)
- Code: preserved at the final tag
v2.0.0for historical reference
Β© 2026 IndieKit Β· pg-dash is where development continues.
