Project Overview

ops-mcp-server is a toolset for server inspection and monitoring, providing a series of tools for remote server operations including network interface checks, service status monitoring, firewall configuration inspection, and more.

Installation

This project uses uv for Python dependency and virtual environment management.

1. Install uv

curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

2. Create and activate virtual environment

uv venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # Linux/macOS
# or
.\.venv\Scripts\activate   # Windows

3. Install project dependencies

Make sure you have Python 3.10 or higher installed, then use the following command to install project dependencies:

uv pip install -r requirements.txt

Note: Dependency information can be found in the pyproject.toml file.
