MCP (Model Context Protocol) server wrapping Oh My Pi built-in tools — read, write, edit, bash, grep, glob, hub, task, and more — as MCP tools.
Prerequisites
- Bun >= 1.2
- Git
Quick Start
# 1. Clone vendor dependency
make clone-vendor
# 2. Install dependencies
make install
# 3. Start the server
make start
Server listens on http://127.0.0.1:8080/mcp.
Configuration
Edit mode defaults to replace (simpler for MCP clients). Generate a config file to customize:
make config
# edit config.yml, then:
make start-config
Available settings — see vendor/oh-my-pi/packages/coding-agent/src/config/settings-schema.ts. Common overrides:
# Edit mode: replace, hashline, patch, apply_patch
edit.mode: replace
# Tool approval: yolo (auto-all), write (prompt exec), always-ask (prompt write+exec)

Add to your MCP client config (mcp.json or equivalent):
