Installation

Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/mkutka/meraki-magic.git
cd meraki-magic-mcp

Create a virtual environment and activate it:

python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: .venv\Scripts\activate

Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Configuration

Copy the example environment file:

cp .env-example .env

Update the .env file with your Meraki API Key and Organization ID:

MERAKI_API_KEY="Meraki API Key here"
MERAKI_ORG_ID="Meraki Org ID here"

Usage With Claude Desktop Client

Configure Claude Desktop to use this MCP server:

Open Claude Desktop
Go to Settings > Developer > Edit Config
Add the following configuration file claude_desktop_config.json
