MCP server exposing GitHub issue operations as tools for LLM agents (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, etc).

Tools

list_issues(repo, state, labels) — list issues in a repo
create_issue(repo, title, body) — create a new issue
comment_issue(repo, issue_number, body) — comment on an issue/PR
close_issue(repo, issue_number) — close an issue
search_issues(query) — search issues/PRs across GitHub

Setup

python3 -m venv venv

Run

venv/bin/python server.py

Register with Claude Code / Claude Desktop
