Confluence Server MCP — Archived Distribution
A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects AI assistants to Confluence Server/Data Center. Search pages, manage content, handle attachments, and interact with your Confluence instance through natural language in Claude and other AI assistants.
[!IMPORTANT] This is an archival recovery of the original
mcp-confluence-data-center@1.0.7npm distribution by Evrim Alacan. It is not the original source repository and is not affiliated with the original author. The published JavaScript, type declarations, and source maps are preserved; the unpublished TypeScript source, tests, and Git history are not available. See PROVENANCE.md.
Quick Start
Run Directly from GitHub

Install it as a dependency:

For the exact original npm tarball, use the asset attached to the v1.0.7 GitHub Release.
Get Your Confluence Server Credentials
- Log into your Confluence Server instance
- Go to Profile > Settings > Personal Access Tokens
- Click Create token
- Give it a name and copy the generated token
- Note your Confluence Server URL (e.g.,
https://confluence.yourcompany.com)

Archive Contents
This repository contains the installable compiled distribution: readable ESM JavaScript, TypeScript declarations, and source maps under dist/. It can be installed and run as a package without rebuilding. It does not contain the original TypeScript source tree or development configuration.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
"Authentication failed"
- Verify your Personal Access Token is correct
- Ensure the token has not expired
"Access forbidden"
- Check your Confluence user has permission for the space or page
- Verify space-level permissions
"Resource not found"
- Confirm the page ID, space key, or attachment ID is correct
- Check you have access to the specified resource
