Israel Weather MCP
MCP server that provides Israeli weather forecasts using browser automation with Playwright.
README
🇮🇱 Israel Weather MCP
Description
This project implements an MCP Server that provides Israeli weather forecasts using browser automation.
Instead of using a weather API, the MCP uses Playwright to control a real browser and extract information from:
https://www.weather2day.co.il/forecast
Technologies
- Python
- MCP SDK
- Playwright
- OpenAI API
How it works
The user asks a weather question.
Example:
"מה מזג האוויר בירושלים?"
The Agent:
- Opens Chromium browser using Playwright.
- Navigates to weather2day.
- Enters the requested city.
- Selects the city from the autocomplete list.
- Extracts weather information.
- Returns a natural language answer.
