🛠 Requirements

📦 Setup

1. Install dependencies

npm install

2. Set environment variables

GOOGLE_SEARCH_API_KEY=your_actual_google_search_api_key
GOOGLE_CSE_ID=your_actual_custom_search_engine_id

cp env.example .env

3. Local development

npm run dev

Performs a web search using the Google Search API.

Parameters:

  • num (number, optional): Number of results to return (1-10, default: 5)

🔑 Google Custom Search Setup

  1. Go to Google Cloud Console
  2. Create a new project or select an existing one
  3. Enable the Custom Search API
  4. Create credentials (API Key)
  5. Set up a Custom Search Engine
  6. Get your Search Engine ID
