README

Focus Coach MCP

Focus Coach MCP is a Model Context Protocol server for study focus, deep work, distraction control, and digital discipline.

It is designed to work with Poke, Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client.

What it does

The server exposes practical tools for people who want to reduce distraction and improve performance in study or work:

  • assess_focus_distraction — assesses focus problems, screen time, distracting apps, and functional impact.
  • generate_study_focus_plan — creates a study plan using deep work, Pomodoro, active recall, spaced repetition, and distraction control.
  • generate_work_deep_focus_protocol — creates a work protocol for execution blocks, priorities, interruptions, and daily review.
  • dopamine_reset_for_productivity — creates a 7-day or 14-day digital reset plan for reducing low-value stimulation.
  • compare_focus_methods — compares focus methods and blockers such as Pomodoro, Deep Work, Time Blocking, app blockers, and iOS Focus Mode.
