README
FAA Advisory Circular MCP
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets you search, retrieve, and track FAA Advisory Circulars (ACs) relevant to airport operations — for both Part 139 certificated commercial service airports and general aviation airports.
What It Does
- Search ACs by keyword, AC number, or topic
- Filter by airport type — Part 139 or GA
- Get full AC details — what it covers, key provisions, what it amends/supersedes, regulatory references
- Direct FAA links to every AC's page and PDF download
- Bookmark and track ACs with your own notes per airport
- Export summaries as printable markdown (optionally saves to a folder you specify)
- Persistent memory — airport profile and bookmarks are stored locally in
data/

Memory & File Storage
- Airport profile and bookmarks are stored in
data/profile.jsonanddata/bookmarks.json— they persist between sessions automatically. - In CoWork or any session with a save folder configured: use
set_airport_profilewith asave_folderpath, andexport_circular_summary/export_bookmarkswill also write.mdfiles to that folder — ready to print or open in Word. - In chat without a folder: exports return as text in the conversation. Everything still lives in the
data/directory for next time.
