BridgeCommander

Sovereign MCP desktop control server — reliable, hardened replacement for Desktop Commander.

Quick Start

git clone https://github.com/copperlang2007/bridge-commander.git
cd bridge-commander
bash ONE-CLICK.sh

Then:

node bin/cli.js setup

Paste the printed JSON into your MCP client config and restart the client.

BRIDGE_COMMANDER_ROOTS process.cwd() Comma-separated allowed roots
BRIDGE_MAX_SESSIONS 12 Max concurrent processes
BRIDGE_BRAIN_URL Optional POST endpoint for outcome events
BRIDGE_HTTP Set to 1 for future HTTP mode

Security Notes

  • All paths are restricted to the configured roots
  • Commands are never executed through a shell
  • Output buffers are hard-capped
  • Sessions are automatically reaped after idle timeout
