Prerequisites

  • Python 3.12+ installed on your system : Environment variable should be set correctly in your bash or zsh so that claude can read it from your system
  • Node.js 18.1+ (for npx usage)
  • Appium Server running on http://localhost:4723
  • Mobile devices/simulators configured and accessible

Setting up Appium Server

Apple Silicon users must rebuild the Python virtual environment (.venv) locally to avoid architecture compatibility errors like:
